Originally it’s made by Alec Chitu using Yahoo Pipes engine. Don’t you think it’s ironic? A Blogger (Google has it) widget that is using Yahoo stuff. Hope someday Google will add this widget in Blogger’s element page.

Go to your Blogger edit style dashboard and click add new page element. Next a popup window should appear then choose HTML/JavaScript. Write its title such “Top Commentators” then paste code below.

What can be customized from the code? Look for these lines.
filter=nickname : replace “nickname” with a word you want it to be filtered. It’s better to filter your own nickname.
blogname.blogspot.com : change it with your own blog url.
Num=10 : Maximum number of to commentator to be displayed.

Remember that it works only if your blog already has several commentators. Don’t use this widget if you have no comment yet.
