The healthy list of directories divided into each pagerank, but I think lots of them are not really blog directory. Anyway I’m still sure that most of them have categories that probably match with your blog topic. I arranged that list into single text file you can download.

Before you get the text file, now please consider these popular blog directories for your blog submission.

Technorati - Here you can claim your blog.
BlogCatalog - You can submit more than a blog for just one username.
BlogFlux - You can also get blogging tools there.
Top100Bloggers - it is a very nice weblog directory.
BlogRoll - Not just rolling your blog URLs.
BloggDigger - It's not really a blog directory but you can submit your feed for inclusion there.
BlogTopList - You need to register there just like others.
TopBlogArea - Ranking available for each category. See its widget at left hand of this page.
BloggerNow - Registration needed.
BloggingFusion - They have cool buttons. You can submit and get popularity stats.
BlogAdr - Complete Blogs collection.
BlogSkinny - Just like TopBlogArea, you’ll get ranked there. Or may I call it score.

Directories above are places where you can submit your blog. I picked up those directories because I think anyone can get listed easily there. That’s why I don’t put DMoz either.

Submitting your blog url to such blog directories it means for getting more exposure and traffic. BloggingFusion can help bloggers like us to promote our blog, increase revenue, backlinks, readership, and of course to make it easier for search engine visibility. When I submitted this blog to BloggingFusion, they only had 1143 submitted blogs and still growing. That amount of submitted blogs is a little number for a blog directory. But it is huge growing number for a new blog directory.

Let see what we can get by submitting our blog to BloggingFusion. They create a special page with search engine friendly url for each blog submitted. There we can see our blog description and popularity stats. You can see this blog stats on them here. But I just wondering why it could be different from stats generated by Xinu.

Obviously it wasn’t an actual pagerank displayed on the button. I think may be it is a system error of PageRankBar.com site. Then I decided to change that button into a button from MyPagerank.net service. But I still wondering why can my blog’s traffic also dropped that day? Just another inconvenient but it doesn’t make me stop in love with blogger.

You can customize its layout style and colors. If you are looking for good chatbox so I think ShoutMix is the right one for you.

Oggix.com is a site that provides free ShoutBox which is easy and most customizable. They also provide free hosted wordpress blog at Oggix.org site. They said they have the best features around the net. So I think they are great and really success with their service. A Shoutbox Avatar, the new technology that really great sounded by them. See what they have: unlimited entries, reply on entry, complete smilies, shoutbox avatar, complete smilies, custom CSS support, long word break, etc. An Indonesian person has this cool service.

Basically they offer 3 free services include shoutbox, link manager, and current status widget. The very simple service that is deserves to be tried.

MyShoutbox
Just like Oggix, MyShoutbox.com also a site with free advance shoutbox. Best of all they don not limit any number of messages. And they also provide bad words filtering feature. On of their iconic feature is HTML intelligence. So every email and url will be converted directly.

FreeShoutBox.net
They offer free shoutbox which is using JavaScript and dynamic HTML (Ajax). What interesting from their service is a free subdomain name for your chatbox. You’ll get such http://yourname.freeshoutbox.net/ url. Thus you can embed your chatbox on your blog or even link it as your guestbook. First, go to Meebome.com and you should find set up area to customize your Meebome style. Type your widget title and display name you want. Display name is a name you’ll use next on your chat box. In the second page you have to fill some forms. If you are a new user then fill in registration form. But if you are an existing Meebo user then you get to simply login with your Meebo username and password.
